Wikota Electrical Services LLC is guided by a leadership team with over 80 years of combined experience in industrial electrical construction, instrumentation, and controls. Our team has led projects across data center, oil and gas, renewable natural gas, helium and cryogenic, and carbon capture facilities in all 48 contiguous states, bringing deep technical knowledge and hands-on field expertise to every engagement. Backed by licensed master electricians and experienced engineers, our leadership maintains a company-wide commitment to safety, quality, and code compliance, reflected in a zero recordable incident history. Below, meet the team responsible for the strategy, engineering, and execution behind every Wikota Electrical project.

William Parkhurst - CEO

William has over 25 years in the energy industry and brings a diversified portfolio of experience to Wikota. His experience in the upstream, midstream, and renewables sectors of the energy industry is rare. Some of the companies he has been involved with over his career include Williams Companies, Southern Star Central Gas, Superior Pipeline, Tenawa Gas Processing, and Novilla RNG. Over the last 25 years, he has held titles of construction manager, project manager, operations manager, VP Operations, and VP Engineering & Construction. William has established significant years of leadership in the energy industry for operations, construction, and engineering design.

Ed Whitfield – President

Ed Whitfield serves as President of Wikota Electrical Services LLC, bringing more than 26 years of experience in electrical construction management, design engineering, and project leadership to the company’s industrial and energy infrastructure work. Based in McPherson, Kansas, Ed has spent his career planning, directing, and managing large-scale contracted electrical projects across the pipeline, oil and gas, and industrial sectors.

As a design engineer, Ed’s expertise spans the full scope of electrical work, including medium-voltage power distribution, instrumentation, PLC controls and SCADA systems, low-voltage networking, and communications. He has designed and built power distribution systems ranging from 12kVAC down to 5VDC, and has developed instrumentation and control systems for multiple interstate pipeline companies, from single MOV sites to medium-sized pump stations and storage facilities. His technical background also includes fiber optic communications work, from testing and jetting to troubleshooting, along with maintenance inspections for switchgear, breakers, and contactors.

Ed writes PLC programs for local pipeline protection integrated with SCADA status and command systems, and maintains deep knowledge of mainline motors and associated equipment. He is Operation Qualified (OQ Tested) through NCCER for I&E Tech, Tech, and abnormal operations, and is listed on ISNetWorld. He is also an NCCER Certified Craft Instructor for Electrical and a Veriforce administrator and instructor, reflecting his commitment to training the next generation of electrical technicians. A practiced draftsman across AutoCAD versions from R13 to 2017, Ed rounds out his technical expertise with electrical compliance testing experience, including fall of potential ground testing and polarization index (PI) testing.

Jeremy Crotinger - Electrical Engineer

Jeremy Crotinger brings over 15 years of experience in instrumentation and electrical (I&E) work across the energy industry, spanning project management, engineering, and field supervision roles. He currently serves as I&E Project Manager at Mid-America Services, following a role as Electrical Supervisor at Ormat Technologies.

Jeremy’s background includes six years as an I&E Project Engineer at Koch Industries, along with I&E roles at Tallgrass Energy and bp, giving him broad exposure to interstate pipeline systems, power generation, and industrial energy infrastructure. He has also held facility and maintenance management roles in Kansas, rounding out a career that combines hands-on I&E execution with project and operations leadership.

Mitch Nolan - Design Engineer

Mitch Nolan serves as Design Engineer for Wikota Electrical Services, bringing a background as a Master Electrician licensed across 24 states and a design engineering education from OSU-OKC. His career spans senior operational leadership roles, including Director of Operations, Chief Operations Officer, and Project Manager, giving him a rare combination of hands-on electrical expertise and executive-level business acumen.

Mitch’s experience covers the full scope of project and business operations: executive management, vendor evaluation and selection, stakeholder and client relations, policy and procedure development, budget development and expense control, human resources management, staff training and supervision, and market research and development. He has managed projects ranging from $500,000 to $60 million on a nationwide scale, overseeing project estimation and serving as a subject matter expert liaison across the company.

As a team lead, Mitch excels at overall project design while effectively delegating tasks across his team. He is known for his attention to the small details that make large projects succeed, and he works closely with client engineers to help ensure Mid-America Services operates as efficiently as possible.
